Banglanimals is a collection of high-contrast flash cards for toddlers, with designs inspired by the Bengali alphabet. I collaborated on this project with Dani V. Sanchez.
The aim of the project is to introduce culture-specific visuals and concepts to children during their prime developmental years in a fun and creative way. Each card is themed with a particular Bengali character, which has been abstracted and reinterpreted in the form of an animal.
Each card shows the original Bengali character at the bottom right and the phonetic pronunciation at the bottom left.
