Counting With Friends

Counting With Friends is a collaborative song recorded in isolation during the height of the COVID pandemic in New York (March 2020). I reached out to my friends and family around the world to gather “counting sound clips”, providing little context for how I would be using them.

This song is about the uncertainty of the future and the connectedness of the world.

The track artwork is a photo I took from Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. During the early months of the pandemic, that cemetery became my go-to spot for walks and clearing my mind.
